The Myrtle Beach Classic, a new PGA TOUR event sponsored by Visit Myrtle Beach, debuted May 9-12, 2024 at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club and was the first PGA TOUR event in Myrtle Beach history, and the first major professional golf tournament to the Grand Strand in the past 24 years! ABOUT YOUR CAREER HERE The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking part-time Beach Club Host to join our award-winning team. We pay our Hosts $15.00 per hour, based on experience. If you are passionate about providing first-class service in a friendly ocean front environment, you have come to the right place! As a member of our team, you will receive weekly pay, free shift meals, uniforms, discounts at our golf and tennis pro shops, golfing and tennis privileges, employee appreciation events, and continued career education/certifications. Regular, full-time employees are also awarded paid time off (PTO) as well as access to Medical, Dental, Basic Life/AD&D, and Voluntary Life insurance plans after 90-days of continuous employment. Some non-health benefits are offered to flexible hour employees. The Dunes Golf & Beach Club offers a Profit Sharing and 401k Plan to employees who are at least 21 years of age, have a minimum of one year of service, and have worked a minimum of 1,000 hours in a calendar year. The Club matches a portion of employee contributions. ABOUT THE POSITION If you're passionate about providing first class service in an ocean front environment and have the desire to expand your food and beverage knowledge, then the part-time Beach Club Host position will be a great fit for you. Our hosts greet members and guests with a warm and friendly smile, fulfill requests of member seating and/or following seating chart, escorts members and guests to their table, and presents menus. They also consistently provide the absolute best club experience for the membership. Teamwork is a critical element to the position, as well as professionalism and attention to detail. Career-oriented individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service in the club industry are encouraged to apply today! QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 15 years old with previous hosting experience. The Beach Club is open 7 days a week , so a variety of shifts are available. Most holidays are required.
