The ideal candidate will assist clients with preparing and administrating estate planning documents and trust management, ensuring their wishes are accurately represented and legally sound.Duties:Prepare Revocable Trusts and Irrevocable TrustsDraft Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, and related legal documentsConduct meetings with clients to understand their estate planning needs and wishesFacilitate client meetings to execute estate plans and ensure proper documentationHandle trust asset allocations and sub-trust funding, including deeds and related formsPrepare and manage Affidavits and coordinate with appraisersOversee probate proceedings from commencement to final distributionDraft petitions and attend hearings related to internal trust affairs in local courtsRequirements:Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California1-3 years of experience.Strong ability to function at a high level of performanceBeing a California Notary Public is a plusEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Licensed to practice law in the State of CaliforniaCalifornia Notary Public certification is advantageousSkills:In-depth knowledge of estate planning and trust administrationExcellent legal research and drafting skillsStrong interpersonal and client communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficientlyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProficient in legal software and Microsoft Office SuiteLocation:Campbell, CA
